Tricia Palmer,
Founder & President

Tricia Palmer isn’t just an HR leader; she’s a visionary who brings over a decade of hands-on experience helping businesses achieve sustainable growth through strategic HR alignment. Passionate about creating high-performing teams and fostering workplace environments where both businesses and employees thrive, she’s the driving force behind Bloom HR.
With top-tier certifications such as the SPHR issued by the HR Certification Institute and the SHRM-SCP issued by the Society for Human Resource Management, extensive PEO expertise, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence, Tricia specializes in:

  • Enhancing company culture and workforce efficiency.
  • Partnering with businesses to deliver bespoke HR solutions.
Tricia’s diverse background includes experience working within a PEO at Insperity, being a customer of a PEO, and roles at Macy’s and a startup marketing agency. This gives her a well-rounded perspective on the challenges and opportunities businesses like yours encounter. Whether pioneering leadership development programs or navigating change management, her expertise ensures your business has the guidance to stay ahead of the curve.
When Tricia isn’t helping businesses unlock their full potential, she enjoys life in Charlotte, NC, with her husband, John, and their two children, Henry and Liza. They love exploring vibrant local parks, spending time outdoors with friends, and traveling as a family (or sneaking in a well-deserved parents-only trip!).

Meet Our Team

Ian Hall

Human Resources Business Partner

Ian began his HR career as a department of one for a large multistate employer, where he quickly learned how to balance strategy, compliance, and people needs across a complex organization. Along the way, he started consulting for local small businesses, drawn to the challenge and satisfaction of helping leaders strengthen their people practices from the ground up.

Ian recently from Indiana to Greenville, South Carolina with his fiancée and Ian joined BloomHR as an HR Business Partner. In his client-facing role, he partners directly with executives and leadership teams to assess, design, and implement effective HR strategies. Known for his depth of thought and structured approach, Ian ensures every solution is thorough, practical, and aligned with the company’s broader goals and culture.

During the workday, Ian is often joined by his two cats—regular guest stars on client calls. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and camping in the mountains, discovering new restaurants around Greenville, and finding the next local event or market to explore.

Eliza Herrington

HR Coordinator

Originally from Atlanta, Eliza got her start in the talent and people space during a fellowship with an educational technology company, where she supported both data integration and talent acquisition initiatives. She also worked with a mobile fashion startup, helping grow its community and user base - a role that sparked her love for connecting people and driving growth in creative environments.

After recently graduating from the University of Georgia and moving to Charlotte, Eliza joined BloomHR as an HR Coordinator. In her role, she helps keep operations running smoothly and contributes to creating a positive, people-first employee experience. Known for her organization, curiosity, and upbeat energy, she brings both structure and heart to everything she does.

When she’s not coordinating all things HR, you’ll find Eliza outside soaking up the sunshine, looking for concerts to go to, or getting way too invested in whatever book she's reading!

Lizanne Boyer

Growth & Implementation Coordinator

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Lizanne graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Human Resource Development and a minor in Business. She competed as a Division I student-athlete on the women's tennis team, helping lead the Aggies to an NCAA National Championship and three SEC Championships. After graduating, she continued both her academic and athletic careers—starting her master's degree at Santa Clara University while finishing her final season of NCAA eligibility on the court. Balancing academics and athletics taught her the value of teamwork, adaptability, and performing under pressure, all of which she now brings to her work in HR.

Lizanne joined BloomHR as a Growth & Implementation Coordinator, where she primarily supports clients through PEO transitions—making sure onboarding stays smooth as organizations move to new HR, payroll, and benefits platforms. She also partners with the sales team on client discovery, organizing transition details and helping create a seamless experience from the very first conversation through implementation. Lizanne loves building relationships, solving problems, and making complex processes feel simple for clients.

Outside of work, you'll usually find Lizanne on the tennis court, exploring Chapel Hill, or checking out new restaurants with family and friends. She loves staying active, meeting new people, discovering great local food, and cheering on college sports whenever she gets the chance.

Amanda Valbert, PHR

Director of Recruiting

Amanda moved to Charlotte to play volleyball and earn a Psychology degree at Queens University. Her natural pull toward community, leadership, and team building led her to pursue a Master's in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, where she fell in love with the intersection of people, business, consulting, and human resources. She started her recruiting career in the staffing agency world before moving into Corporate Talent Acquisition for seven years—eventually setting out on an entrepreneurial path to give candidates better support as they search for the right place to work.

Amanda joined BloomHR as Director of Recruiting to be part of a team she describes as powerful, dynamic, intuitive, empathetic, steady, committed, forward-moving, and—most importantly—fun. Overseeing recruiting support and driving successful, long-term hires is her idea of a perfect day. She specializes in helping companies in growth or transition, driving strategic value, building trust quickly, and maintaining partnerships that last. Her gift is finding the right players and placing them in the best lineup possible.

Outside of work, you'll find Amanda somewhere outside—probably with her dog, near a body of water, playing volleyball (or thinking about volleyball), surrounded by friends, family, and great food.
