What to Know Before You Get Started

No. Your PEO continues to handle payroll, benefits, and the platform. We work alongside them, handling the HR coordination, decisions, and execution that the PEO isn’t built to do.

It depends on your size, complexity, and the PEO you’re moving to, but most transitions take 30 to 60 days from contract signature to go-live. We’ll give you a realistic timeline during your consultation.

We do the heavy lifting, but a clean transition needs a few things from you: access to your systems and data, participation in a handful of decision-point check-ins, validation on business-specific details, and support on internal communication. You stay involved, you’re just not running the project.

Most clients do because the HR work doesn’t stop at go-live. But the partnership is flexible. We’ll talk through what level of ongoing support makes sense for your business.

PEO HRBPs typically provide guidance and answer questions. We’re hands-on. We work directly with your PEO, manage employee issues end-to-end, and coordinate across vendors so your team isn’t stuck in the middle.

Implementation is a one-time project fee based on the complexity of your transition. Core+ is a recurring monthly retainer for ongoing support. We’ll walk through both during your consultation.
